Position Overview

The Workforce Analytics Specialist partners with HR and business leaders to transform workforce data into actionable insights that drive better business decisions. This role is responsible for workforce analytics, HR data integrity, reporting, dashboard development, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset and enjoys solving business problems through data, technology, and strategic thinking. While prior HR experience is helpful, candidates with backgrounds in finance, economics, data analytics, business strategy, or related quantitative fields are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and key business insights.
  • Develop and maintain workforce dashboards, scorecards, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct trend analysis, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling to support talent and workforce planning.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • Support HR systems and ensure workforce data is accurate, complete, and reliable.
  • Perform regular data audits and resolve discrepancies across multiple systems and sources.
  • Assist with data governance practices, change control processes, and data quality standards.
  • Partner with HR and cross-functional teams to improve processes and data management practices.
  • Create reports, presentations, and visualizations that support workforce and organizational decision-making.
  • Research external workforce trends and benchmarks to provide context for strategic initiatives.
  • Develop documentation, process maps, job aids, and procedures related to HR systems and reporting.
  • Support projects focused on technology optimization, reporting enhancements, and operational efficiency.
  • Present findings and recommendations to HR and business leaders.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Applied Mathematics, Analytics, or a related quantitative field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One to two years of experience in analytics, finance, business strategy, reporting, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience analyzing data and developing meaningful business insights.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytical tools preferred.
