Workflow Coordinator
About the role
The Workflow Coordinator is responsible for identifying and accurately distributing a high volume of accounting and claims related correspondence. Responsibilities will primarily focus on the timely handling of tasks such as categorizing correspondence, assigning it to the correct loss number and department, researching new losses, responding to client requests, and participating in projects.
Responsibilities
- Identify and categorize correspondence received from clients according to content (first notice of loss, updates, financials, statement of accounts, etc.)
- Ensure correspondence is assigned to the correct loss number and department and person for handling within Claims or Reinsurance Accounting
- Research newly reported losses to ensure they do not already exist in the global reinsurance system before categorizing content as first notice of loss
- Respond, with guidance, to internal and external client requests utilizing both written and verbal communication
- May participate in projects as needed
Requirements
- A high school diploma is required
- 2+ years office experience, preferred
- Obtain a working knowledge of Munich Re operational and/or financial processing systems
- Have a working knowledge of MS Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Outlook
- Strong organization, prioritization and follow-through skills for handling high volume intake in order to meet deadlines
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, relationships and teamwork
- Open-minded, receptive to innovation and automation
- Uses judgement and problem-solving skills to detect routine issues
- Ability to develop a working knowledge of MRAm organization and functions performed
- Ability to review and identify contract terms applicable to job function and obtain a familiarity with reinsurance terms and concepts

Pay
The base salary range anticipated for this position is $46,000 - $63,000 plus opportunity for company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay.
