Position Overview The attorney will be responsible for handling workers' compensation defense matters from inception through resolution. This role requires strong litigation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Manage a full caseload of workers' compensation defense files from start to finishAttend hearings, depositions, and trialsDraft pleadings, motions, and legal correspondenceReview medical records and develop case strategiesConduct discovery and ensure adherence to litigation deadlinesCommunicate effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel Qualifications Active member in good standing with the California State BarPrior experience in workers' compensation defense preferredStrong organizational, writing, and communication skillsAbility to manage a caseload independently in a fast-paced environment Additional Details Hybrid work schedule based in Orange County, CaliforniaTravel required to WCAB venues in Orange County, Los Angeles, and surrounding areasAttorneys are given autonomy while working within a collaborative, team-oriented environment Compensation & Benefits Salary up to $175,000+ (commensurate with experience)Competitive, performance-based bonus structureSupportive team environment with strong administrative backingManageable caseloads supported by efficient internal systemsOpportunities for long-term growth and career development
