Workers Compensation Defense Attorney

About the role

We are seeking a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney with 2+ years of litigation experience for a remote role with court appearances in the Los Angeles area.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in workers' compensation defense cases, including hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Conduct legal research, draft motions, and prepare case strategies.
• Attend WCAB hearings in the Los Angeles area as required.
• Maintain a monthly billing requirement of approximately 220-230 hours.
• Collaborate with a skilled legal team to deliver high-quality legal services.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of workers' compensation defense experience.
• Active California Bar license and in good standing.
• Strong litigation skills with excellent communication and legal writing abilities.
• Experience handling cases for school districts is a plus.
• Ability to work remotely while managing court appearances in the LA area.
