We defend all aspects of workers’ compensation claims for employers, insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and municipalities. Responsibilities

  • Handle all phases of defense in workers’ compensation matters—from intake and investigation, through discovery, depositions, trials, and settlement negotiations.
  • Represent clients in cases involving Labor Code § 132a, serious & willful misconduct allegations, and other complex issues.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court documents with precision.
  • Work closely with clients (employers, carriers, administrators, municipalities) to counsel them on risk, strategy, and liability.
  • Liaise with medical experts, investigators, adjusters, and court personnel.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in California workers’ compensation law and practice.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in Workers’ Compensation Defense.
  • Must be based in California.
  • Minimum of 200 billable hours per month, with bonus upside beyond that.

Pay

$165,000 - $210,000 per year.
