Key Responsibilities
- Manage a workers’ compensation defense caseload with autonomy and sound judgment.
- Conduct depositions, mediations, and hearings; successfully try cases as needed.
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with assigned clients.
- Participate in business development and marketing initiatives.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture.
- Utilize technology to efficiently manage files and clients within a paperless environment.
Qualifications
- 1–5 years of workers' compensation or relevant litigation experience.
- Licensed and in good standing to practice in North Carolina.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized with strong time-management skills.
- Team-oriented with a commitment to collaborative success.
