Workers Compensation Claims Specialist

Responsibilities

• Affords review and internal/external reporting determination of workplace incidents
• Ensures claim handling that drives appropriate loss and expense outcomes for HCSG
• Maintains tracking system for incident follow-up
• Ensures compliance with HCSG’s incident reporting policies and procedures
• Captivates HCSG’s medical case management vendor; designates involvement at the time of reporting
• Oversees WC oversight for non-litigated cases within assigned territory
• Facilitates WC claim closures
• Manages injured worker outreach program
• Ensures Field Operations are following HCSG’s Return-to-Work Policy and Procedures
• Manages shared Risk Team email account
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Technical proficiency (MS Office and Gmail) required
• Dependable, proactive, attentive to detail, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Exceptional communication skills and professional demeanor
• Spanish speaking a plus
