Workers Compensation Claims Manager Oversee complex workers’ compensation claims programs for diverse clients. Lead claims strategy by directing investigations, setting appropriate reserves, and managing the pathway to fair, cost-effective claim resolutions while ensuring strict regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute claims strategies for complex losses.Direct investigations and manage claim handling from intake through resolution.Set and manage reserves to support accurate financial exposure.Supervise, mentor, and coach claims staff to ensure performance and quality.Partner with carriers, TPAs, and medical/legal vendors to coordinate effective claim outcomes.Analyze loss trends and data to recommend risk and cost-reduction strategies.Collaborate cross-functionally with underwriting, risk management, and consulting teams.Identify and support process improvements that strengthen claim operations. Qualifications & Skills Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation claims management and regulatory requirements.Proven ability to lead investigations, manage reserves, and drive equitable resolutions.Experience working with external partners (carriers, TPAs, medical and legal vendors).Analytical skills for loss trend evaluation and risk/cost strategy recommendations.Leadership and communication skills, with a record of mentoring teams.Commitment to ethical, client-focused standards and continuous professional development.
