This role is responsible for managing lost time workers’ compensation claims from assignment through resolution while ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant claim handling.The adjuster will investigate claims, evaluate liability and exposure, manage litigation and medical activity, maintain reserves, and support claim resolution strategies. This position is ideal for a claims professional who is comfortable managing multiple priorities, navigating complex claims issues, and working in a fast paced environment. This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must reside in the state of Tennessee due to business and compliance requirements. Workers’ compensation claims experience is required for this role. Candidates should have experience handling workers’ compensation claims and exposure to lost time claim management. ResponsibilitiesManage a desk and caseload of workers’ compensation claims in an efficient and professional mannerInvestigate claims thoroughly, including coverage, liability, and exposure analysisEvaluate claim exposure and maintain accurate and timely reservesManage litigation activity and coordinate with defense counsel as neededEvaluate claims for settlement and negotiate resolutions with claimants and attorneysMonitor and manage medical treatment activity and claim progressionMaintain accurate, timely, and organized claim documentation within the claims systemEnsure claim payments are processed accurately and timelySupport timely and compliant claim resolution strategiesMaintain communication with employers, injured workers, attorneys, medical providers, and clients throughout the claims processParticipate in required training and maintain knowledge of assigned state workers’ compensation statutesPerform additional duties and projects as assignedRequirementsWorkers’ compensation claims handling experience requiredLost time workers’ compensation claims experience beneficialExposure to litigation management and settlement negotiations beneficialMust reside in the state of TennesseeAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environmentAnalytical mindset with attention to detail and sound decision-making abilityClear verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environmentProfessional and customer-focused approach when working with clients and claimantsProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new systemsEducation and LicensesHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor’s degree beneficialAdjuster licensing beneficial or ability to obtain licensing as requiredCandidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.Why Join Us:At Acrisure, we’re building more than a business, we’re building a community where people can grow, thrive, and make an impact.
