About the role

McAnany, Van Cleave & Phillips, P.A. (MVP Law) is seeking a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney to join their Springfield, Missouri, office. The position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement with a physical office space and the ability to maintain a remote practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage a workers' compensation defense caseload with independence
• Successfully try cases, conduct depositions and mediations
• Effectively establish, build, and maintain relationships with all assigned clients
• Participate in marketing and business development opportunities within the firm
• Engage in a collaborative team atmosphere
• Utilize available technology to manage clients effectively and efficiently within a paperless work environment

Qualifications

• Experience in workers' compensation defense
• Ability to manage a caseload independently
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills
