About the role

The Operations Worker II works with a small team in a hands-on role focused on safety, teamwork, and reliability to keep production moving. You’ll package, move, wrap, and stage dried yeast products while operating equipment such as forklifts, power hand jacks, stretch wrappers, and HMI-controlled systems. This position is ideal for someone with manufacturing, food production, warehouse, or construction experience—or anyone who enjoys staying active and learning new skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned food grain operations tasks, including general facility upkeep, sampling for quality, and packaging.
• Operate various types of mobile equipment such as forklifts, bobcats, or payloaders.
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of and adherence to all food safety policies and procedures.
• Perform all tasks in a manner that promotes the safety and quality of our products.
• Actively participate in all required food safety and quality-related meetings and training events.
• Identify and report all food safety and quality issues to management immediately.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience required.

This role has developed skills through formal training or considerable work experience and operates within established procedures with moderate supervision.
