This is a full‑time role based in Dallas, TX. Partnering closely with the Workday HCM Functional Lead, Workday Integration Lead, HRIS, technology, finance, data warehouse, and Operator teams, this role will translate operational requirements into scalable Workday reports, data models, and analytics while ensuring the accuracy, consistency, security, and usability of Workday data. The specialist will serve as the data and reporting‑focused resource across new Workday implementations and ongoing production support, connecting functional configuration and integration data flows to the reporting and analytical outputs Operators need to manage their businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain Workday operational reports and analytics across Operator and multi‑tenant environments, including advanced, matrix, and composite reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and supporting reporting data structures.
  • Partner with Operators and internal stakeholders to gather reporting and analytical requirements, understand operational business questions, and translate those needs into scalable Workday reporting solutions and standardized reporting frameworks.
  • Serve as the reporting and data partner to the Workday HCM Functional Lead and Workday Integration Lead during new Operator implementations, validating that functional configuration, source data, integrations, and reporting outputs align throughout testing, go‑live, and post‑go‑live support.
  • Perform data analysis, reconciliation, validation, and troubleshooting across Workday and downstream reporting environments, using SQL and other analytical tools where appropriate to identify data discrepancies, understand root causes, and ensure reliable operational reporting.
  • Partner with the WBS Data Warehouse team to support Workday data extracts, reporting datasets, and downstream analytics, helping establish consistent data definitions and ensuring Workday information is accurately represented within enterprise reporting environments.
  • Build and maintain standardized operational reporting across Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting, Time Tracking, Absence, and other Workday functional areas, while supporting Operator‑specific reporting needs where appropriate.
  • Establish reporting governance and documentation, including report inventories, data definitions, calculated‑field standards, report ownership, security requirements, dependencies, and reusable reporting templates across Operators and tenants.
  • Monitor reporting accuracy and performance, troubleshoot data and report issues, and provide hands‑on production support for Operators, including root‑cause analysis and coordination with functional, integration, and technology teams when issues extend beyond the reporting layer.
  • Support semi‑annual Workday releases through report regression testing, impact analysis, data validation, and remediation, ensuring reporting and analytical outputs continue to operate accurately following Workday configuration and platform changes.
