Workday Integrations Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Financial Integrations Engineer to join our fast-paced Financial Systems team. In this role, you will be the ultimate "subject matter expert" for our Workday integrations, working closely with financial analysts, accountants, and engineers. This position offers a high degree of autonomy and is ideal for someone who enjoys building complex solutions, translating functional requirements into architecture, and navigating novel situations.
Responsibilities
- Build Workday Studio Integrations from scratch in novel situations.
- Utilize Workday Web services to inbound complex data into Workday systems, leveraging SOAP XML & REST APIs.
- Gather requirements, spec projects, lead meetings, update stakeholders, and build integrations.
- Translate functional requirements from accountants and financial analysts into actionable design.
- Build calculated fields, custom reports, and matrix reports.
- Deploy BIRT forms to the Workday UI and embed them within Studio assemblies.
- Identify use cases for Workday Prism and build solutions from scratch.
- Serve as the go-to expert for Workday integrations, working autonomously.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience building and supporting integrations for Workday Financials, Prism, and Accounting Center.
- Mastery of XSLT and experience with XSL 3.0.
- Familiarity with EIBs, Core Connectors, Document Transformations, RaaS calls, and Studio Integrations.
- Strong understanding of Workday data object model and business processes, especially payment networks, settlement, customer management, general ledger posting rules, and bank account routing rules.
- Knowledge of Workday Orchestrate vs Workday Studio use cases.
- Firm grasp of Workday security setups and server authentication protocols.
- Familiarity with finance and accounting terminology and processes.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and decision-making.
- Proven ability to operate with a global-first mindset.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $155,000-$170,000. This range may be adjusted in the future and is based on factors including education, qualifications, experience, skills, and geographic location.
