About the role

As a Workday Financials Senior Consultant, you will lead project workstreams, identify and document business requirements, provide functional design, prototyping (including scenario design and flow mapping), testing, user training, and define support procedures. Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Coordinating schedules and creating documentation and collateral
  • Developing and executing test/use cases
  • Configuring Workday software
  • Assisting with prioritization and sequencing of workstream efforts
  • Supporting project leadership as required

Requirements

  • 5+ years of consulting or industry experience in Workday Financials/ERP finance domain
  • 2+ years of experience leading Financials workstreams and project teams
  • Workday Financials Professional certification or capability to obtain upon joining
  • A minimum of 1 full life cycle Workday Financial implementation
  • Demonstrated knowledge in some combination of: Record to Report, Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Order-to-Cash (OTC)
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on client needs
  • Bachelor’s Degree or 8 years of equivalent professional experience
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred Qualifications

  • An advanced degree in a relevant area of specialization
  • Functional knowledge of financial systems and processes
  • Experience defining systems strategy, requirements, design, prototyping, testing, training, and implementation under multiple deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and manage small engagements or parts of large engagements
  • Experience leading and mentoring junior staff
  • Strong presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)

Pay

The wage range for this role is $116,000 to $229,100, reflecting factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and business needs. Compensation decisions depend on individual circumstances. You may also be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program based on individual and organizational performance.
