Workday Financials Sr Consultant

We're here to help transform finance and supply-chain processes, making them more efficient and cost-effective. Our teams use Deloitte's vast expertise to deliver lasting results for our clients. By working closely with CFOs, CIOs, and Business Unit leaders, we provide valuable business transformation and continuous support across various industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead project workstreams
• Identify and document business requirements
• Provide functional design, prototyping (including scenario design, flow mapping)
• Testing, user training, define support procedures
• Coordination of schedules
• Create documentation and collateral
• Create and execute test/use cases
• Configure Workday software
• Assist with prioritization and sequencing of the workstream's efforts
• Assist project leadership as required

Qualifications

• 5+ years of consulting or industry experience in Workday Financials/ERP finance domain
• 2+ years of experience leading Financials workstreams as well as project teams
• Workday Financials Professional certification or capability to obtain upon joining
• A minimum of 1 full life cycle Workday Financial implementation
• Demonstrated knowledge in some combination of the following: Record to Report, Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Order-to-Cash (OTC)
• Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
• Bachelor's Degree or 8 years equivalent professional experience
• Preferred: Advanced degree in the area of specialization, Functional knowledge around financial systems and processes, Experience defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines, Ability to work independently, manage small engagements or parts of large engagements, Experience as a lead and mentor to junior staff, Presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
