Requirements
- 3-5 years proven prior success in roles directly implementing Workday
- 2+ years proven prior leading Workday, Financials implementations
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Huron requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Preferred preferred Skills & Experience Workday Certification or equivalent practical experience in one or more of the following; Financial Accounting, Core Financials Banking and Settlements, Expenses, Customer Account or Grants Management
- Experience leading Workday Financials design and customer confirmation sessions
- Experience configuring all aspects of Workday Financials and the related Customer Accounts functionality
- Experience configuring or a deep understanding of Workday Payroll Accounting is a plus
- Experience with project or workstream planning and management
- Excellent communication skills - oral and written - and the interpersonal skills needed quickly to establish relationships of trust and collaboration
- Ability to establish credibility in the eyes of senior-level, financially literate university and hospital executives, including those that lead the sponsored research functions, on the basis of expertise, maturity, and professionalism
- Ability to train and participate in the professional development of Huron staff in both project or workstream management and technical dimensions
- Excellent time-management and prioritization skills
- Strong analytical skills used to translate information from meetings into documentation that can be shared with meeting participants and project teams
- Desire and willingness to learn new tools, techniques, concepts, and methodologies
- Proven thought leadership as indicated by speaking engagements and/or publications a plus
