Workday Certified Financials Consultant/Lead - P2P/WSS

In the Workday Financials P2P/WSS Consultant role you will partner with clients to unlock hidden value and deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify business requirements, create functional and process designs (including scenario design and flow mapping), prototype, test, train, and define support procedures.
• Lead workshops for client education.
• Conduct working sessions with clients to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements.
• Support the Financials Lead in architecting Workday P2P/WSS solutions, ensuring cohesion across work streams and mitigating cross‑functional impacts.
• Advise clients on industry standards and leading practices.
• Demonstrate design options through prototyping.
• Understand and apply Workday and Accenture methodologies.

Travel

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 % to 100 % depending on business need and client requirements.

Requirements

• Workday Financials Partner Certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of consulting experience, most recently in a Consultant‑level role or similar.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on Workday Financials P2P and/or WSS experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of US and/or global Financials Operations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent 12 years of work experience). If an Associate’s degree is held, a minimum of 6 years of work experience is required.

Preferred qualifications

• 4 + years of experience implementing Workday Financials.
• Proficiency in multiple business processes (e.g., PTP, OTC, GL, FA, budgeting, cash management, etc.).
• Experience leading global and/or large‑scale Workday engagements.
• Experience with other cloud‑based SaaS financial applications (Oracle E‑Business Suite, NetSuite, Infor, Unit 4, PeopleSoft, Oracle Cloud ERP, SAP, Lawson, etc.).
• Advanced degree in a relevant specialization.

Compensation

Annual Salary Range (USD) by location:

• California: $70,350 – $196,000
• Cleveland: $59,100 – $156,800
• Colorado: $63,800 – $169,300
• District of Columbia: $68,000 – $180,300
• Illinois: $59,100 – $169,300
• Maine: $54,400 – $144,300
• Maryland: $63,800 – $169,300
• Massachusetts: $63,800 – $180,300
• Minnesota: $63,800 – $169,300
• New York: $66,300 – $196,000
• New Jersey: $68,000 – $196,000
• Virginia: $59,100 – $180,300
