Workday Adaptive Planning Manager

The Emerging ERP Solutions practice delivers cloud-based ERP applications such as Workday Financials and Infor to transform finance and supply-chain processes into more efficient, cost-effective operations. Teams leverage Deloitte’s deep expertise to deliver lasting results for clients, collaborating closely with CFOs, CIOs, and business-unit leaders to drive business transformation and continuous support across industries. Responsibilities
- Team with EERPS–Workday colleagues and client teams on large, full-lifecycle enterprise implementations supporting FP&A transformations using Deloitte’s adaptive implementation approach (flexibility, integrated client involvement, rapid value delivery).
- Manage day-to-day interactions with executive clients and sponsors.
- Earn trusted-advisor status by understanding client businesses and co-developing strategies that deliver measurable benefits using Workday and Deloitte solutions.
- Provide oversight of multiple workstreams: guide progress, escalate risks and issues, coordinate cross-functional activities, assist with project management or serve as project manager, and ensure deliverables are developed and delivered on plan.
- Define systems strategy; oversee requirements gathering and documentation; lead fit-gap analysis; design “as-is” and “to-be” processes; run conference-room pilots; perform functional configuration; manage testing; and deliver client user training.
- Develop and maintain relationships with top decision-makers at key clients; collaborate with pursuit teams; participate in and lead aspects of proposal development.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of consulting or industry experience.
- 8+ years of EPM project implementations, including at least 4 years with Workday Adaptive Planning.
- Full-lifecycle implementation experience on 6 or more projects.
- Bachelor’s degree or 8 years of equivalent professional experience.
- Workday Adaptive Planning certification or successful completion of relevant Workday certification upon joining.
- Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on client, industry, and project needs.
Preferred qualifications
- Functional FP&A knowledge and EPM system implementation/deployment experience.
- Experience leading systems strategy definition, requirements gathering and documentation, fit-gap analysis, “as-is” and “to-be” process design, conference-room pilots, functional configuration, testing, and client user training in large enterprise environments.
- Advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
Pay
The estimated annual base salary range is $144,600 to $265,100. Compensation decisions are made based on individual skills, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and business needs. Eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to program rules and performance factors.
