Work Planner
paragraphs under existing sections. That's allowed. So we need to ensure all substantive info appears somewhere. Thus we need to include Working Environment and Physical details somewhere, maybe under Responsibilities or About the role. Since they describe job conditions, could fit under Responsibilities (maybe as part of what you will do). Or we could add a new section like "Working Conditions" but not allowed. So we must embed. We'll create sections:
About the role
with paragraph(s) covering intro and maybe also mention of advancing safety culture etc.Responsibilities
with- each bullet covering the categories and subpoints. Could break each main duty as li, and within li we can have further detail using
- maybe? But spec says use
- for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. It doesn't forbid nested lists. We'll keep simple: each duty as li, with description.
We need to include all subpoints: Safety & Compliance (identify/report hazards, follow safety standards, promote values), Field Operations (drive to sites, hike ROWs up to 10 miles/day, inspect/document vegetation work, record data using tablets/software, use forestry computer systems), Customer & Stakeholder Relations (address concerns, communicate with leadership/auditors/clients/contractors/landowners/public, maintain positive PR), Emergency Response & Other Responsibilities (participate in storm/emergency response, carry out additional duties as assigned). Also we need to embed Working Environment and Physical details maybe as additional li under Responsibilities or as separate li.
We could add a li: "Work outdoors in various weather and terrain, including hiking up to 10 miles per day, exposure to noise, dust, grease, smoke, extreme temperatures, hazardous traffic, wildlife, insects, poisonous plants; operate equipment and vehicles; perform physical tasks such as stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, running, crawling, climbing, reaching, twisting, grasping, repetitive hand/arm/shoulder movements, carrying/pushing/pulling weight, lifting up to 10 lbs frequently and up to 60 lbs occasionally." That covers Working Environment and Physical.
Thus Responsibilities will contain those li.
Requirements
with list: Minimum 6 months UVM or related field work experience; Knowledge of tree species identification, hazard tree assessment, invasive species management, understanding of tree growth patterns; Ability to hike/walk ROWs and drive for extended periods; Knowledgeable about Utility Vegetation Management practices; Experience with GIS software/technology as well as Microsoft Suite and an iPhone; Must be able to work alone, outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain; Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, strong problem solving and multi-tasking abilities and show attention to detail; Must be able to adapt to change. But note some of these overlap with Responsibilities; but we keep as per posting.Qualifications
(or maybe Skills) for ISA certification preferred, Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) plus. We need to decide which heading to use for those. The posting says "What Would Be Amazing To Have". That's like preferred qualifications. Could be under Qualifications. We'll useQualifications
for those. Skills: we could put interpersonal etc under Skills, but we already have them in Requirements. To avoid duplication, maybe we move interpersonal etc to Skills and keep Requirements focused on experience/knowledge. Let's parse: Requirements (minimum experience, knowledge, ability to hike, UVM knowledge, GIS/MS Suite/iPhone, work alone outdoors). Skills: exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, strong problem solving and multi-tasking abilities, attention to detail, adaptability. Qualifications: ISA or equivalent certification preferred, Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) plus. Thus we will have sections: Requirements, Skills, Qualifications. Now Benefits: list as per What We Offer. Pay: "Industry competitive pay." We need to ensure we don't include boilerplate like EEO, drug test, background check, etc. Those are legal/EEO boilerplate; we must remove them. Also remove "Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug test and a criminal background check." etc. Also remove "Company Overview" maybe? That's not in allowed headings; but it's substantive info about company. Could we embed under About the role? Possibly as a brief description. The company overview is substantive: "ArborMetrics (AMS) is a leading provider of vegetation and asset management consulting services to the utility industry. Successful professionals at AMS have come from a variety of backgrounds..." That's about the company, not the role. Should we preserve? The instruction: Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. So we need to include that info somewhere. Could add a paragraph under About the role or maybe a separate section like "Company Overview" but not allowed heading. We could embed under About the role as additional paragraph. Also "All candidates must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record." That's a requirement; we should include under Requirements or Skills. It's substantive. Also "AMS is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer." That's EEO boilerplate; remove. Also "Important Information For Applicants" includes Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC etc. That's legal boilerplate; remove. Thus we need to incorporate driver's license requirement. Let's structure:About the role

We could add a li: "Work outdoors in various weather and terrain, including hiking up to 10 miles per day, exposure to noise, dust, grease, smoke, extreme temperatures, hazardous traffic, wildlife, insects, poisonous plants; operate equipment and vehicles; perform physical tasks such as stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, running, crawling, climbing, reaching, twisting, grasping, repetitive hand/arm/shoulder movements, carrying/pushing/pulling weight, lifting up to 10 lbs frequently and up to 60 lbs occasionally."
