Description
- Generate production work orders in the ERP system.
- Print and prepare job packets for production work centers.
- Aid in daily inventory control and annual physical inventory.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet production goals.
- Ensure work orders are generated and job packets are prepared by the schedule provided.
- Print and prepare work order document packets and deliver to work centers.
- Update work order parts/qty as engineering changes arise.
- Track down jobs in process where order changes have been made and update paperwork.
- Prepare job cost summaries.
- Complete and close work orders for invoicing.
- Support daily cycle count activities and transactions as requested.
- Review open work order dashboard daily.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems quickly and effectively.
- Experience using an ERP system.
- Understanding of inventory control, inventory transactions.
- High attention to detail, highly organized, quick learner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
- Experience: 1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Basic understanding of inventory control and production orders.
