About the role

The role of Work Based Learning Coordinator involves overseeing the implementation of work-based learning programs within an educational institution. The coordinator works closely with employers to ensure that students gain practical, hands-on experience relevant to their field of study.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage work-based learning programs in collaboration with faculty and industry partners.
• Oversee the placement of students in internships, apprenticeships, and other work-based learning opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and institutional requirements related to work-based learning.
• Communicate regularly with students, employers, and faculty to monitor progress and address any issues.
• Assess student performance and provide feedback to both students and employers.
• Prepare reports and documentation as required by the institution and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in education or related fields, preferably in a work-based learning capacity.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
