WordPress Webmaster - Remote · 3–5 hours/month · Ongoing

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update WordPress pages, posts, and plugins
• Ensure the site is secure, backed up, and running on current software versions
• Make content updates as requested by our team (text, images, links, new pages)
• Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise
• Advise on site improvements, accessibility, and user experience
• Support integration of volunteer application links, donation tools, and social media feeds as needed

Requirements

Demonstrated proficiency with WordPress (themes, plugins, page builders such as Elementor, Divi, or similar)

Basic understanding of web security, site backups, and plugin management

Ability to work independently and communicate clearly about technical issues to a non-technical founder

Familiarity with SEO basics and web accessibility standards is a plus

Experience with Google Analytics, Search Console, or similar tools is welcome but not required
