Wordpress / Drupal Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Full-stack Developer with Wordpress and Drupal experience to join our team. This role at fjorge is integral to delivering high-quality products that meet client needs and business goals. As a leader on the development team, our Developers ensure the technical execution of projects, from architecture to estimation to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical planning to meet product and project requirements and stay actively engaged throughout the client engagement.
• Support team collaboration through clear and effective communication channels.
• Refine user stories into actionable tasks and ensure they are aligned with project goals.
• Proactively communicate when issues arise and resolve them quickly to maintain project momentum.
• Participate in stand-ups and ensure all developers are completing tasks at a high level.
• Develop and communicate detailed estimates for project tasks that align with business objectives and constraints.
• Optimize resource usage and maintain up-to-date estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build trust and foster confidence with clients by maintaining clear and effective communication.
• Understand client needs and translate them into actionable tasks.
• Adapt to changes in project scope or priorities and maintain work of the highest standard.

• Drupal Custom Development
• WordPress theme development (PHP + template hierarchy)
• One Javascript framework (React, Angular, Vue, etc.)
• One CSS framework (Tailwind, Bootstrap, etc.)
• Shopify (Liquid)
• Headless wordpress or REST Api integration
• SQL
• ADA accessibility (WCAG compliance experience)

Benefits

• Hybrid role based in our Minneapolis, MN office. Expect to see in-office collaboration 2-3 days a week.
• Compensation: USD $85,000-95,000 depending on experience, with potential to bonus on a quarterly basis.

Personal Utilization
