Woodroom Lead

About the role

The Lead Assembler is responsible for working safely, maintaining a positive attitude, and focusing efforts on building a quality product within allocated time. This role provides guidance, support, and motivation to team members, manages conflict, monitors processes, and trains outfitters to ensure tasks are performed accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assists supervisor, manages, guides, coaches, and adjusts work as needed to accomplish goals.
• Trains outfitters to ensure safety requirements are followed.
• Leads by example.
• Develops training for outfitters to understand responsibility and takt time.
• Identifies and helps improve safety, quality, and delivery opportunities.
• Understands and tracks SQDC metrics.
• Performs all other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Skills

• Ability to interact with diverse groups.
• Competent in math.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of all department processes.
• Ability to influence and guide outfitters in the organization.

Independent Judgement
