Woodhouse Day Spa - Spa Attendant

About the Role

The Spa Attendant ensures guests receive optimal services by executing support responsibilities that provide the smooth flow of operations within the spa. This role focuses on maintaining a sanitary facility, performing general cleaning and organizational tasks, monitoring laundry needs, and keeping the spa stocked with fresh linens, robes, and other supplies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all location laundry needs, including sorting, washing, drying, hanging, folding textile items, and removing stains using appropriate procedures.
• Safeguard all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products; ensure safe and sanitary storage and care of products.
• Perform general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping of hardwood, laminate, or tiled floors as needed.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and window treatments.
• Dispose of trash from bins and containers.
• Dust and polish furniture and room accessories as needed.
• Scrub sinks, basins, bathtubs, showers, and toilets in bathrooms/treatment rooms.
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, mirrors, and counters.
• Keep all public spaces neat and tidy with consistent walkthroughs of the spa.
• Report repairs and replacements needed when encountered.
• Replenish paper towels, toilet tissue, and hand soap in dispensers daily.
• Ensure glasses, teacups, dishes, and utensils are washed daily and returned to their appropriate storage area.
• Remove any plants or flowers from the spa that are not fresh.
• Empty all waste receptacles and trash cans daily or as needed to avoid odors.
• Keep trash receptacles clean and fresh.
• Occasionally sanitize and disinfect.
• Abide by all protocols as set forth by Woodhouse Spa and protect the Woodhouse Spa brand.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good physical stamina to walk, bend, carry, and stand for long periods of time.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Pay

$18.00–$20.00 per hour. This is a non-exempt position eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable laws.

Schedule

This role requires availability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and/or weekends, to accommodate the needs of the business.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand on feet for long hours at a time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
