About the role

Wood Shop Employees are needed to help Architectural Fiberglass, Inc. (AFI) continue its growth. The ideal candidate should be organized, self-motivated, and able to communicate professionally. Training will be provided for all aspects of the job except for the use of table saws, chop saws, band saws, sanders, and other electric or air power tools.

Responsibilities

• Build patterns from sketches/drawings
• Build frames for molds and make side boards, split boards, stop-offs for patterns and molds
• Perform general carpentry work
• Clean assigned area after use and maintain general housekeeping
• Perform any other duties requested by the supervisor

Requirements

• Experience using table saws, chop saws, band saws, sanders, and other electric or air power tools
• Willingness to learn and put forth best efforts
• General carpentry skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/drafts
• Basic computer skills

Skills

• Proficiency with table saws, chop saws, band saws, sanders, and other power tools
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Basic carpentry skills
