About the role

As Wood & Plywood Solutions Project Manager, you will lead projects through every phase of the lifecycle—from design and sourcing to manufacturing, assembly, and final execution. You will develop competitive, cost-effective, and technically sound proposals, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations. This role contributes to Nefab's ability to deliver high-quality, customer-aligned wood and plywood packaging solutions on time and within scope.

You will facilitate project kickoff meetings, align stakeholders on scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables, and determine optimal execution locations based on Nefab's manufacturing capabilities. Acting as the primary point of coordination during the quotation process, you will proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and drive projects to successful completion. Additionally, you will prepare and present project proposals and final deliverables to Regional Managing Directors and customers.

This position reports to the Product Solution Director Wood & Plywood, Americas, and operates within a cross-functional environment connecting Design, Sourcing, and Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from design and sourcing through manufacturing, assembly, and final execution.
  • Develop competitive, cost-effective, and technically sound proposals.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (Engineering, Design, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Sales) to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Facilitate project kickoff meetings to align stakeholders on scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Determine optimal execution and delivery locations based on Nefab’s manufacturing capabilities and capacity.
  • Act as the primary point of coordination during the quotation process, identifying risks and resolving issues.
  • Prepare and present project proposals and final deliverables to Regional Managing Directors and customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Manufacturing Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier negotiations, and manufacturing within packaging, wood, plywood, or related industrial sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of wood and plywood manufacturing processes, materials, converting methods, and packaging solutions; wood packaging experience is an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating projects involving Engineering, Design, Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Sales.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines, quality standards, and customer expectations.
  • Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced English language proficiency.
