Wonder School Preschool Substitute Teacher
PRESCHOOL CHILDREN AND FAMILIES
Implements weekly lesson plans in collaboration with student teachers and ECDE faculty.
Aides in the assess children's development and routinely collects data.
Models and provides guidance to student teachers to help resolve issues with children when necessary.
Ensure the safety of all children in our program.
Closely follow licensing regulations related to childcare.
ECDE STUDENT TEACHER ENGAGEMENT
Creates a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages active and collaborative learning for student teachers.
Engages student teachers in the classroom set-up each morning and conducts an end-of-class discussion to summarize the day.
Fosters and maintains a safe environment of respect and inclusion for faculty, staff, students, and members of the community.
Performing Other Duties As Assigned
Regular, predictable, and punctual attendance is required.
Minimum Education And Experience Required
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Development and Education or related field.
- Two (2) years of experience working with adult students and children ages 3-5.
Licenses and Certifications
- State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or demonstrate ability to gain access to work site(s).

- Digital dexterity when entering data into computer.
- Sits for periods of time, stands, and walks.
- Converses verbally or manually with others in person as well as by telephone.

- Regular exposure to moderate noise typical to preschool rooms.
