The Role
Astellas is hiring for a Women's Health Business Specialist position in the Fayetteville, AR area. The role involves promoting Astellas products to physicians and other medical personnel within the assigned geography, educating customers on product use, and representing Astellas professionally in the field.
Primary Responsibilities
- Effectively promote and educate targeted physicians/HCPs on Astellas' products through one-on-one meetings and group presentations.
- Educate customers on the use, characteristics, advantages, and indicated treatments of promoted products.
- Represent Astellas in the field and maintain high levels of visibility and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain effective communication and relationships with key external and internal customers.
- Travel 5 days per week, supported by office time for call planning, customer follow-up, appointment setting, report generation, etc.
- Meet call plan expectations and achieve territory product sales goals while adhering to ethical sales practices and compliance guidelines.
- Execute company-approved Product Marketing plans and territory/regional business plan activities.
- Coordinate promotional efforts with peers across franchises and co-promotion alliance partners as appropriate.
- Achieve territory product sales goals while adhering to ethical sales practices, compliance guidelines, and promotional regulations.
- Accurately report/submit sales call activities, territory expenses, and written reports within deadlines.
- Attend all company-sponsored sales and medical meetings as directed by company management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS)
- 2+ years pharmaceutical selling experience
- Strong knowledge of sales processes and pharmaceutical products
- Solid communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
- Proactive and can-do approach
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability, analytical skills, and business acumen
- Strong motivational and persuasion skills
- Team-oriented and leadership skills
- Proven record of sustained high sales performance and achievement
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight travel
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree or continued education
- Knowledge of promoting specialty products

Salary Range
$83,790 - $132,000 (Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, and organizational equity considerations.)
