Essential Job Functions
- Provide primary health care to the patient and family throughout the course of care.
- Use the processes of assessment, diagnosis, management, and evaluation to provide care that integrates the psychosocial and physical needs of the patient and family.
- Establish a therapeutic relationship with the client and family.
- Plan, develop, coordinate, and provide appropriate health education and counseling in response to patient needs.
- Contribute to the advancement of the profession, seek to ensure high quality care within the RWSP, and demonstrate leadership skills in achieving improved outcomes for all clients and their families.
- Responsible for the health care provided and will utilize age specific developmental principles when providing care.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years prior advanced practice experience in Women’s Primary OB/GYN Care ambulatory setting.
Minimum Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner: Completion of a graduate level (or higher) nurse practitioner program accredited by ACEN or CCNE; No experience required; Certification by ANCC or AANP; Licensed RN by TBON; Licensed APRN in a nurse practitioner clinical area of specialization by TBON.
- Physician Assistant: Completion of a physician assistant program accredited by ARC-PA; No experience required; Certification by NCCPA; Licensed Physician Assistant by TPAB/TMB.
Salary
Commensurate with experience.
