Women’s Evaluation & Triage Unit Certified Nurse Midwife

Position Highlights

• Join an experienced team of CNMs, nurses, strong support staff, and collaborating physicians in the Women's Evaluation & Triage Unit at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA.
• Responsible for evaluating preterm and term labor, complications of pregnancy, and urgent presentations of gynecologic conditions.
• Advanced practice opportunities available in limited obstetrical ultrasound.
• Combine clinical care with education of future care providers from many disciplines.
• Includes joint faculty appointments to Baystate Midwifery Education Program and involvement in clinical and didactic education of student midwives, residents, and medical students.
• Full-time position involving 16-hour shifts, 7am–11pm.

Qualifications

• ACNM BE/BC Certified Nurse Midwife.
• Strong interest in working with student learners and a commitment to collaboration, courage, quality, and lifelong learning.
• Bilingual (Spanish) helpful.
• Active Massachusetts Midwifery license preferred.
