Background

FamilyWell Health is an AI-enabled mental health start-up dedicated to solving the women’s mental health crisis by seamlessly embedding high quality, equitable, & affordable mental health care into OB/Gyn practices. FamilyWell provides comprehensive virtual mental health services designed specifically for integration into women’s health practices and health systems. FamilyWell’s virtual care team model delivers evidence-based mental health support throughout the full reproductive lifecycle—from fertility through menopause—using the proven Collaborative Care Model (CoCM).

Role

  • Location: Remote
  • Department: Care Operations
  • Job type: Part-time, 10-30 hours per week as a 1099/contractor
  • Compensation: $80 per 60-minute session (inclusive of intake and follow-up) plus 2-hour allotment per month for administrative compensation

Patient Care & Support Responsibilities

  • Provide individual tele-therapy to patients requesting regular sessions using FamilyWell’s virtual platform.
  • Conduct one-on-one psychological intakes for referred FamilyWell program patients, gathering comprehensive assessments to inform treatment planning.
  • Document patient progress comprehensively, sharing treatment recommendations with medical providers, psychiatric consultants, and other treating professionals as needed.
  • Facilitate treatment plan modifications for patients needing more intensive or specialized mental health care, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
  • Develop and deliver Care Plans post-session, offering patients actionable insights and follow-up steps.

Qualifications

  • Licensed mental health provider who holds an active license in IL. All applicants must be able to practice independently / without supervision.
  • Licensures that qualify include the following:
    • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
    • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
    • Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT)
    • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Formal perinatal/peri/menopause mental health training or a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience working with pregnant and/or postpartum and/or peri/menopause patients is strongly preferred.
  • Preferred Certification: Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) from Postpartum Support International is recommended but not required. Proof of certification in the treatment of the Peri/Menopause population is recommended but not required.
