About the Role

Join Atrium Health Women’s Care Charlotte OB/GYN, an established practice with a team of 15 Physicians and 11 Advanced Practice Providers. This full-time position involves a combination of first assist surgical duties, perioperative care, and clinic responsibilities. You will primarily support OR cases with the opportunity to see patients in the office when not in the OR. Surgical first assist experience in gynecological surgery, robotics, and/or laparoscopy is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • First assist in gynecological surgeries, including robotics and laparoscopic procedures
  • Provide perioperative care
  • See patients in the office when not supporting OR cases
  • Participate in office surgery and call rotations (schedule to be determined)

Requirements

  • 1+ years of surgical APP experience required
  • Graduation from an accredited PA or NP program
  • Must be approved to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina
  • Current prescriptive privileges and DEA license required
  • BLS for healthcare provider from AHA required
  • Physician Assistants: certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred
  • NC/SC license required

Pay

Pay range: $51.05 - $76.60 per hour.

Schedule

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Varying schedule, primarily supporting OR cases
