About the Role

Functional Medicine of Idaho is seeking a Women's Health Provider to join our Ammon, Idaho site. We were founded in 2018 to address the shortcomings of conventional medicine by asking not what do you have, but why do you have it. Our practice blends functional and integrative care with conventional medicine, utilizing precision testing beyond basic labs and offering integrated primary, functional, and specialty care under one roof. Providers have the time to track patient progress, adjust plans, and work toward meaningful improvements.

  • Diagnose and treat gynecological conditions and disorders, order and interpret diagnostics including ultrasounds, blood panels, and biopsies, and build personalized treatment plans
  • Manage care for pre-, peri-, and post-menopausal patients, including hormone optimization, cycle balancing, preconception planning, and fertility support
  • Offer family planning and contraceptive counseling, and educate patients on reproductive health and preventive care
  • Coordinate with providers, nurses, nutritionists, health coaches, and mental health clinicians so hormonal, nutritional, and emotional health are addressed together
  • Grow a women's health practice with support from marketing, referral, and front office teams
  • Give the site's Functional Medicine Medical Director feedback on patient flow, documentation, diagnostics, and therapeutic options
  • Participate in FMI-hosted talks and workshops focused on women's health
