Responsibilities
- Routine physical/annual well woman exams
- Birth control consult and placements
- Cycle management/issues
- STI testing
- Initial infertility work-up
- Management of perimenopause and menopause
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with specialization as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP)
- Current licensure by the Virginia State Board of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority
- Maintains BLS and ACLS certifications
- Holds a current, active license as a registered nurse in Virginia or a current multistate licensure privilege as a registered nurse
- Nationally recognized certification as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP)
