Responsibilities

• Assists department staff under general supervision of the manager.
• Facilitates and mentors staff to grow professionally.
• Facilitates and coordinates admissions, transfers, and discharges of patients.
• Acts as a physician liaison for the unit.
• Supports and empowers staff to embrace the hospital’s mission and goals.
• Provides direct patient care as needed.
• Collaborates with other departments to provide an interdisciplinary approach to patient care.

Requirements

• Current unrestricted Wyoming Registered Nurse Licensure.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in department-specific area preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 1 year of position start.
• NVCI certification preferred within one year of position start.
• PALS certification required within 6 months of position start.
• Fetal Heart Monitoring certification required within one year of position start.
• Three years’ experience in Women's Health preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Current unrestricted Wyoming Registered Nurse Licensure. BSN preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience preferred. Minimum 1 year experience in department-specific area preferred.
• Certifications: BLS certification required. ACLS certification required within 1 year of position start. NVCI certification preferred within one year of position start. PALS certification required within 6 months of position start. Fetal Heart Monitoring certification required within one year of position start.
• Specialty Certification: Specialty certification in related area preferred.
