WMS Specialist Supervisor, Night Shift (Sun - Thur Work Week)

About the role
The Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Specialist Supervisor oversees all administrative functions for our night warehouse operations to ensure efficient allocation of work assignments for filling customer orders.
Responsibilities
- Hire and train Warehouse Clerk personnel.
- Manage and develop Warehouse Clerk personnel.
- Oversee the administrative functions of night warehouse operations and supervise a team of Warehouse Clerks responsible for:
- Production of customer invoices.
- Production of work assignments for picking operation.
- Managing the picking process via the WMS shipping screens.
- Managing the pick shorting process and overseeing runners for any shorted or missing items.
- Working closely with the night leadership team to meet production goals on a nightly basis.
- Ensuring administrative tasks are performed appropriately and timely to keep key production, such as shuttle departures, intact and on time.
- Ensuring all routes are electronically shipped within the WMS shipping dashboard, and all short picks are addressed with outlined work practices.
- Working closely with the dock supervisor to coordinate physical and electronic loading of the trucks.
- Overseeing the entirety of the shipping dashboard (electronic picking and shipping of all orders) utilizing the warehouse clerk team.
- Utilizing the warehouse clerks to ensure all driver paperwork is prepared on time and accurately with all manifests and pickup requests for the appropriate delivery routes.
- Working closely with the corporate routing teams to receive order data post-routing and begin the work assignment creation process.
- Perform other warehouse duties and activities as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in a high-velocity order selection environment.
- Previous WMS experience; Korber/High Jump experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail and process-driven.
- Strong computer skills, comfortable working on a laptop in a fast-paced warehouse environment for the majority of the shift.
- Previous forklift certification and experience is desired.
- Ability to work independently, be self-managed, and motivated to meet deadlines.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work a night schedule, Sunday–Thursday, and work holidays and weekends as needed.
Pay
$65,000–$75,000 annual compensation, depending on experience.
Schedule
- Sunday: 1:30 PM to finish.
- Monday through Thursday: 5:30 PM to finish.
