About the role

Castalia Systems is seeking a WMD Analyst (Mission Support), Senior to support the government’s all‑source intelligence analysis of foreign weapons of mass destruction (WMD) programs, including the proliferation and procurement of WMD‑applicable materials, technologies, and knowledge, and provide intelligence analysis support to the entire spectrum of DoD and USG counter‑WMD efforts.

Responsibilities

• Perform all‑source analytic production on WMD, including CBRNE analysis.
• Participate in collection activities supporting strategic and tactical intelligence priorities and responses to military contingency operations.
• Analyze and support collection on WMD threats, the CBRNE and counter‑terrorism nexus, missiles and delivery systems, advanced weapons, and related military activities and operations.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the labor category, with a portion of that experience within the last 2 years.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution, or an additional 4 years of experience (total 12 years) in lieu of the degree.
• Experience with DIA analytical writing standards & ICD 203/206.
• Demonstrated in‑depth knowledge of labor‑category activities required to meet mission requirements.
• Mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and awareness of developments affecting tradecraft.
• Ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches for rigorous assessments.
• Experience analyzing analytic operations and knowledge‑management issues across organizational and intra‑IC boundaries.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Skill in reviewing analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions.
