Wireman III – Senior (Manufacturing)

Job Summary The Wireman III is a senior, highly skilled individual contributor responsible for complex electrical assemblies, advanced troubleshooting, and supporting higher‑level builds. This role serves as a technical mentor to Wireman I and II team members and partners closely with engineering on prototype, NPI, and continuous improvement efforts. This position is not a people‑manager role. Key Responsibilities Execute and lead complex electrical and control panel assemblies with minimal supervisionPerform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysisSupport prototype, NPI, and engineering change buildsCollaborate with Engineering to resolve design or manufacturability issuesProvide technical guidance and on‑the‑job mentoring to Wireman I and II staffIdentify and recommend process improvements to improve quality, efficiency, and repeatabilityEnsure work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards CORE COMPETENCIES Advanced electrical assembly and wiring expertiseSystematic troubleshooting and problem resolutionStrong schematic and documentation interpretationTechnical leadership without formal authorityContinuous improvement mindsetQuality and safety orientation Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent5–8+ years of electrical assembly or wireman experience in manufacturing or industrial environmentsAdvanced ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMsProven ability to work independently on complex builds Preferred Qualifications Exposure to automation systems or PLC‑controlled equipmentExperience supporting prototype or NPI buildsExperience working in regulated, safety‑sensitive, or quality‑driven environments (e.g., manufacturing, industrial equipment)
