The Opportunity

The Connectivity Engineering team at Flock is seeking a Wireless Software Engineer with a focus on Wi-Fi technology to enhance our integrated connectivity solutions for Non-Line-of-Sight (NLOS) for terrestrial and aerial communication.

Skillset

  • Bachelor degree in computer science (or related field) or higher
  • Experience in C, C++, and Python
  • Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
  • Excellent teamwork skills with proven ability to work with a cross-functional team and drive for timely project success
  • 3-5 years hands-on experience in user space and kernel driver in 802.11 recent standards
  • Familiarity with Qualcomm WiFi Networking code base and software release
  • Knowledge in other wireless standards mostly 3GPP or CV2X
  • Knowledge and experience with commercial connectivity devices to include Mobile and IoT devices
  • Experience with wireless products and general software stack of these products
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with databricks, Snowflakes or similar data base software

Opportunities

We offer a starting salary of $150,000 - $190,000 as well as Flock Stock Options. The Perks include:

Qualifications

This position requires candidates to work on a hybrid remote basis in our Atlanta, GA based engineering center. Given this requirement, we are only able to consider candidates who are local or willing to relocate to the metro Atlanta area.
