What you'll do in your role

  • Help customers pick up where they left off in their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care or in-store.
  • Explore individual needs and provide hands-on demonstrations of the latest and greatest technology in-store.
  • Sell personalized solutions beyond the bare-bones device and service plan, including unique accessories and IoT devices.
  • Guide customers through their purchasing experience with thoughtful questions, informative answers, and sharing expertise.
  • Approach service and sales with patience, honesty, and empathy.
  • Demonstrate how Arch Telecom's ever-expanding coverage stacks up in the customer's neighborhood, providing lightning-fast LTE networks.
  • Explain why plans and services will enable customers to live unlimited, feel the love, stay connected, and go further.
  • Participate in device and account inspections, reviews, and troubleshooting.
  • Complete training on in-store experience, new skills, and processes, gaining knowledge of systems and reference resources.
  • Build relationships with and partner with employees across channels, including business and customer service to collectively own the customer experience and resolve issues.
  • Identify and handoff small business leads.
  • Develop strong peer relationships, being accountable for the company's success.
  • Willingly have a good time while providing exceptional customer experience.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A strong desire to learn and master the skills required of our customer advocates and build meaningful connections with customers.
  • A competitive drive and the confidence to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • A willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, learning and sharing best practices, while serving customers and resolving issues.
  • An effective balance between customer experience and performance goals.
  • At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in a retail environment.

What must haves do you need?

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Be able to lift objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Have reliable transportation.
  • Be available for full-time (40 hours) or part-time (20+ hours) work.
