Wireless Network Consultant
About the role
As an Integrated Technologies Architect on the Oracle Health Network Assurance team, you will provide consulting services to clients throughout North America for analysis of their wired and wireless networks with minimal oversight. These services include analyzing clients’ networks using network analysis tools and established processes to ensure compliance with industry and Oracle Health standards for successful implementation of Oracle Health solutions.
You will complete network assessments involving analysis of network topologies, configuration/show commands, network architecture, and capacity requirements. Wireless assessments will also focus on radio-frequency analysis for data, voice, and video communication standards over Wi-Fi.
Responsibilities include capturing data onsite, analyzing it, and transferring findings into a standardized report format for clients. Daily progress updates are expected while onsite to keep clients and the Oracle Health Implementation team informed.
You will collaborate with clients, Oracle Health Implementation team members, and peers to deliver concise, thorough reports identifying network issues and providing recommendations. Presenting final reports to both the Oracle Health team and client leadership, including C-Suite, is a key responsibility.
You will adhere to established processes, methodologies, and best practices for network assessments, creating and delivering appropriate documentation. Occasional after-hours engagement may be required to access restricted areas (e.g., surgery, ER).
You will manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, including administrative tasks like timely submission of expense reports and timesheets. Prioritization, communication of client expectations, and maintaining high client satisfaction are expected.
Participation in team meetings and working sessions is required to continue developing your knowledge of wired and wireless networks.
