Wireless Field Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot wireless internet and telephone services for customers.
• Service and maintain AMA TechTel's products and services.
• Absorb customer system and equipment problems.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Perform duties during on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Knowledge of fiber to the home/wireless/cable/satellite TV type installations.
• Working knowledge of computer networking implementations.
• Good customer service skills.
• Ability to work on rooftops.
• Ability to work in and navigate confined spaces for long periods of time.
• Ability to safely climb ladders with tools and equipment.
• Ability to pull a trailer and operate drop bury equipment when needed.
• Able to work in all weather conditions.
• High school diploma.
• Clean driving record.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Pass drug and alcohol screenings.
