Wire Rope Sling Fabricator/Delivery Driver

Duties & Responsibilities

• Making wire rope and chain slings
• Using hydraulic machinery like presses, reeling machines, pull test machines
• Forklift operation
• Safely preparing materials for shipping
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Keeping the work area organized and safe
• Restocking materials in the warehouse
• Assisting with annual inventory
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred driver's license
• 3-5 years experience in wire rope sling fabrication
• Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods
• Ability to operate a forklift and obtain necessary certification
• Attention to detail and ability to manage customer deadlines
• Basic reading, writing, arithmetic, and communication skills
