Wire Rigging Fabricator

About the role

The Wire Rigging 1 role manufactures wire rope and chain slings with a commitment to safety, quality, and customer needs in accordance with company and ISO 9001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Properly job in and job out of work orders for job tracking.
• Stage materials for building rigging.
• Manufacture Soft Eye and Hard Eye wire rope slings, assemble wire rope and chain slings, and multi-leg slings in accordance with production standards.
• Clearly communicate with the rigging team when using overhead cranes, forklifts, or handling heavy loads to ensure safety.
• Inspect slings for defects or deviations per Quality Control standards.
• Identify and report non-conformities, contributing to corrective and preventive actions for continual improvement.
• Splice rope and wire cables to make or repair slings and tackle.
• Print tags and attach them to slings.
• Maintain a clean and neat work environment.
• Focus on safety, quality, and timeliness.
• Comply with all company policies, including a drug-free workplace.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
