We need to output HTML fragment with headings

for sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections that have real specific content. We must not repeat job title as heading. Must not include Job ID etc. Must preserve all substantive info, remove boilerplate like EEO, legal, application instructions, etc. Also remove duplicated lines. Must not create sections with filler like "commensurate with experience". Pay and Benefits: posting has pay range and benefits details, so we can include Pay and Benefits sections? The instruction: "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." Also "never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them." Pay is stated: $110000.00 - $140000.00/hr (though seems weird per hour but it's there). Benefits are listed. So we can have separate Pay and Benefits sections, or combine? The instruction says use headings for those categories if content exists. So we can have

Pay

and

Benefits

. Schedule: not mentioned besides fully onsite, but schedule not given. So we should not create Schedule section. About the role: we have a description paragraph at start: "The Lead Wiring Harness Design Engineer designs, develops, and releases complete high-voltage and low-voltage wiring harness systems..." That's about the role. So we can have About the role section. Responsibilities: list of duties. We'll put
  • each. Requirements / Qualifications / Skills: The posting has "Essential Skills" and "Additional Skills & Qualifications". We need to decide how to split. Could combine into Requirements (education, experience) and Skills (technical). But we must not create thin sections. Perhaps we can have one "Requirements" section covering education, years experience, etc., and a "Skills" section covering technical skills. Or we could have "Qualifications" for education/experience and "Skills" for technical. The instruction says use headings for those categories if content exists. We have content for both. So we can include Requirements (education, experience) and Skills (technical). Also maybe "Additional Skills & Qualifications" could go under Skills as well. We must not repeat job title. Must not include boilerplate like "Work Environment", "Job Type & Location", "Workplace Type", "Application Deadline", "About Actalent", EEO, etc. Those are boilerplate/navigation/legal; we should remove them. However, some info like location (Louisville, KY) and job type (Contract to Hire) might be considered substantive? The instruction says remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. It does not explicitly say to remove location or job type, but those could be considered metadata. The instruction says "do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it." So location and job type could be minor metadata; we could fold into a short

maybe under About the role or at top. But we should not create a heading for them. Since we are not to create sections for minor metadata, we can include a short paragraph after the heading maybe. We need to preserve ALL substantive information. Does location count as substantive? Probably yes, but it's minor. We can include a short paragraph after the About the role heading: "

Location: Louisville, KY (Contract to Hire, fully onsite).

" That preserves it. Similarly, work environment details could be considered substantive but maybe not required. The instruction says remove boilerplate; work environment may be considered boilerplate? It's descriptive of setting. Might be okay to keep but could be considered not essential. Safer to drop it as it's not directly about role responsibilities/requirements. However, the instruction says preserve ALL substantive information; work environment might be considered substantive. But we can include it as a short paragraph under About the role or as its own section? There's no heading for work environment in allowed list. So we could fold into About the role paragraph. We also need to include Pay and Benefits sections with proper content. Pay: The posting says "The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $140000.00/hr." That's weird per hour but we keep as is. Also note "Individual compensation offered ... will depend on many factors..." We can include that as prose. Benefits: list of benefits. We must not include filler like "commensurate with experience". Not present. We must not include Schedule section. Now construct HTML. Start with

    About the role

then paragraph(s). Include responsibilities list after its heading. Let's draft:

    About the role

The Lead Wiring Harness Design Engineer designs, develops, and releases complete high-voltage and low-voltage wiring harness systems for high-volume manufactured products. This role owns the full product lifecycle for harness design, from concept and schematics through 3D routing, prototyping, validation, and supplier coordination, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and supporting cross-functional teams in a Lean development environment.

Location: Louisville, KY (Contract to Hire, fully onsite).

    Then Responsibilities:

    Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, and release complete high-voltage and low-voltage wiring harness systems, including wire and cable gauge sizing, connector selection, terminal and crimp definitions, complex harness routing, and manufacturing considerations.
    • Create and maintain logical wiring diagrams and schematics, detailed 2D harness manufacturing drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and related engineering specifications.
    • Complete and maintain the GEA wiring harness checklist to ensure design quality and compliance.
    • Drive and guide the CAD team on 3D harness routing, packaging, clearance optimization, and thermal and vibration strain relief within a 3D CAD environment.
    • Build and/or support prototype harness builds to validate feasibility, manufacturability, serviceability, and assembly methods.
    • Coordinate harness fabrication with external suppliers, including defining and reviewing quality plans and managing first-piece qualification activities.
    • Ensure wiring harnesses, connectors, and related components comply with UL requirements and other applicable regulatory standards.
    • Drive connector and harness standardization across product lines to improve quality, reduce cost, and increase design reuse.
    • Own FRACAS (Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System) investigations for wiring harness failures during design verification, reliability testing, and early field returns, and drive closure with robust corrective actions.
    • Apply Six Sigma and reliability engineering methods to validate designs, identify root causes, and implement durable, data-driven solutions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and operations teams within a Lean product development process to ensure designs meet performance, cost, and manufacturability targets.
    • Partner closely with Controls and Electrical Engineering teams to support product-level EMI/EMC testing, troubleshoot issues, and implement design changes as needed.
    • Lead and contribute to DFMEAs (Design Failure Modes and Effects Analyses) for wiring harness systems to proactively identify and mitigate risk.
    • Plan and manage wiring harness design activities and deliverables as part of broader project plans, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
Now Requirements (education, experience). We'll extract from Essential Skills: - Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related engineering field. - Minimum of 7 years of engineering design experience on high-volume manufactured products. - At least 5 years of dedicated experience designing wiring harnesses, including connector and terminal selection, wire insulation and derating calculations, and supplier qualification. - Minimum of 5 years of experience using Creo Schematic or a similar electrical CAD tool for wiring harness design. - Proven experience leading DFMEAs for complex electro-mechanical systems. - Demonstrated project planning experience, including scheduling, prioritizing tasks, and coordinating with cross-functional teams. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and validation. - Experience ensuring designs meet regulatory requirements such as UL, FCC, or CE. - Technical expertise in wiring harness design, wiring schematics, cable assembly, and electronics. - Ability to collaborate effectively with CAD teams, controls engineers, and operations personnel in a Lean product development environment. We could put these as
under Requirements. Then Skills: Additional Skills & Qualifications plus maybe some overlapping. We'll list: - Experience with high-voltage and low-voltage wire harnesses and harness design for multiple product lines. - Familiarity with FRACAS processes and tools for failure reporting, analysis, and corrective action. - Exposure to Six Sigma and reliability engineering methodologies applied to product design and validation. - Experience supporting EMI/EMC testing and resolving related design issues at the product level. - Design for manufacturability, serviceability, and assembly for wiring harnesses and cable assemblies. - Some 3D CAD experience is beneficial, though the role primarily collaborates closely with a dedicated CAD team. - Comfort working across the full product lifecycle, from concept and requirements through design, test, launch, and continuous improvement. We could combine some of these with Requirements but to avoid thin sections, we can have Skills section. Now Pay:

      Pay

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $140000.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

      Benefits:

      Benefits

      • Medical, dental & vision
      • Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital
      • 401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available
      • Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents)
      • Short and long-term disability
      • Health Spending Account (HSA)
      • Transportation benefits
      • Employee Assistance Program
      • Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave)
We should not include Schedule section. Check for any duplicated lines: we have not repeated. Check for boilerplate removed: we omitted Work Environment, Job Type & Location (we folded location into About the role), Application Deadline, About Actalent, EEO, etc. Check that we preserved all substantive info: The role description, responsibilities, essential skills, additional skills, pay, benefits, location, contract type, work environment? We omitted work environment details (facility focused on laundry and electronic controls products, building dedicated, etc.). Is that substantive? It might be considered minor but could be relevant. The instruction says preserve ALL substantive information. Work environment details might be considered substantive. However, we have no heading for work environment; we could fold into About the role paragraph as an extra sentence. Let's add a sentence: "The role is based in a facility focused on laundry and electronic controls products, within a building dedicated to these product lines." That preserves it. We also omitted "The engineer works closely with a CAD team, controls and electrical engineers, operations, and external suppliers as part of a Lean product development process." That's somewhat covered in responsibilities but we could add. We also omitted "The environment supports multiple product lines and full product lifecycle activities, from design and prototyping to validation and production." Could add. We also omitted "Work is primarily performed in an engineering office and lab setting with regular interaction with manufacturing and test areas, using tools such as electrical CAD (e.g., Creo Schematic), 3D CAD platforms, and standard engineering and test equipment." Could add. We should incorporate these details into About the role paragraph or maybe a separate short paragraph after About the role. Since we cannot create a heading for Work Environment, we can add a paragraph.
