WINTER - WRESTLING - HEAD COACH - BOYS

About the role

The Hatboro-Horsham School District seeks a wrestling head coach who is passionate about working with student-athletes, patient, organized, mature, dependable, and responsible. The ideal candidate must be available for game times, practice sessions, and meetings. They should possess knowledge of wrestling rules and fundamentals, and familiarity with PIAA rules is preferred. This position requires adherence to the district's mission and vision, as well as compliance with all job-related instructions.

Responsibilities

• Work with student-athletes to foster their academic and social development
• Develop and implement training programs that adhere to PIAA rules
• Manage team logistics including scheduling, transportation, and equipment maintenance
• Attend and participate in all district, league, and tournament events
• Collaborate with other coaches, teachers, and administrators to support the overall athletic program
• Maintain a positive and inclusive environment that promotes the values of the district

Requirements

• Current certification in coaching wrestling
• Experience coaching wrestling at the high school level
• Knowledge of PIAA rules and regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Passion for promoting the values of the district

Pay
