Winter Internship 2027 | Tax Intern | White Plains (49593)

Responsibilities

• Preparing tax returns and tax extensions
• Organizing tax information
• Aiding with tax notices and examinations
• Maintaining working knowledge of tax preparation software
• Performing various administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Junior or one year prior to graduation (depending on 4- or 5-year program)
• Completed at least one tax class
• Flexible to work a minimum of 25 hours per week
• Flexible to work weekends as needed
• Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
• Authorized to work in the US
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Participation in the VITA Program
