Job Responsibilities

• Support the Firm’s mission and values by exhibiting behaviors such as accountability, collaboration, excellence, and innovation.
• Become familiar with the Firm’s policies and procedures.
• Interact with clients and network with Citrin Cooperman accounting professionals.
• Aid in preparing a variety of cost reports, financial statements, and/or tax returns (depending on department).
• Analyze and review financial data for various industries and situations.
• Gain a working knowledge of accounting research, software, and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in accounting (or pursuing currently).
• Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy.
• Great verbal and written communication skills.
• Involvement in extracurricular activities and/or work experience.
• Demonstrated academic success.
• Strong organizational skills and time management.
• The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
• The ability to interact with clients and employees of all levels of the Firm.
