Winter Assistant Coach - Wrestling

About the role

Annual appointment; must re-apply in subsequent years. Reports to the Head Coach and Athletic Director. Effective November 2026 through March 2027, subject to modification. Organized practice pursuant to current NJSIAA rules.

Responsibilities

• Coach/assist with coaching the winter sports teams cited above.

Qualifications

• New Jersey Teaching Credential OR Substitute Credential OR eligibility for Substitute Credential (60 undergraduate college credits)

Pay

$5,049 – $6,488. Stipends are in accordance with the Negotiated Agreement between the Paramus Board of Education and the Education Association of Paramus (EAP).

Schedule

November 2026 through March 2027.

Requirements

• New Jersey resident or willingness to relocate
• Controlled substance testing and successful completion of criminal history background check are required of all applicants offered employment

Evaluation

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the Principal and Athletic Director.
